Welcome
I'm, Bil and this is my site. Welcome.
I like travel, I like walking and I like photography. I'm also finding more and more that I'm being inexorably drawn into the on-line world.
My last two jobs have involved significant on-line development and ownership. As a fully paid up electronic/electrial and software engineer and having worked in mobile telecoms for the last 15 years primarily in networks, it is a wrench, and not a comfortable move, but one I must embrace.
And so I set this site up for a couple of reasons:
- Display the images from my travels (they're not brill, but they are mine)
- Learn about the creation and maintenance of a website.
The second bit will take me some time. Bear with me and check by from time to time. The site will grow.
Thanks for passing by and I hope you'll find something you like.

Route 66
In September 2011 we rode Route 66 - Chicago to Los Angeles - on a Harley Electraglide. The company we booked through was HC-Travel of Overton (Small place in deepest, darkest Hampshire, just outside Basingstoke) and the tour operator was California Sunriders.
Ok so the picture here is a Nightrod, but hey, which looks better?
Picture here was taken in Doha on Qatar National Day 2010. The local Hog Chapter and Qtel's Virgin Mobile Service arranged a rideout in celebration. If you can't celebrate a National Day with a Hog ride, what's life?
Canadian Rockies Trip
Now that we have returned from our holiday and the blog is complete you read the daily entries below whilst I add the photo galleries.
